Who do you say He is?
In Matthew 16:13-16 the gospel writer lets us listen in on a conversation between Jesus and His disciples. "When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, 'Who do people say the Son of Man is?' They replied 'Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.' 'But what about you?' he asked 'Who do you say I am?' Simon Peter answered 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.'" 2000 years ago the greatest event in all of history occurred, a Jewish man named Yeshua (Jesus' hebrew name) hung on a cross just outside Jerusalem, beaten and mocked and hung for dead for being the 'King of the Jews' Despite what some may tell you there is no doubt to the historical existence of Jesus.
